Tragedy: The Curse of Theatre de L'Enfer

​Synopsis

Edwin Crevier is struggling to save his bankrupt theater and upon finding a mysterious magical book, he uses it to bring his theater back to life- literally. But, the theater begins to consume Edwin and his performers until they are devoured by the theater and the dark magic coursing through it.

I helped ideate for the overall story along with the rest of the team and after that worked primarily on visual development. The design of the original theater was lots of deep jewel tones and rich vibrant colors that once would've been beautiful but have now decayed with disuse.

 

The characters are meant to get progressively more covered in blood and gore as guests move through the house, the scare actor makeup reflecting the madness that the theater is descending into.

Entry was in the Top Ten and was awarded Best Layout.
