Grimwick Quarter Flyover
Land of Legends Theme Park
The goal of this project was to create story and concept art for a theme park as well as a proposed layout. I've always been inspired by reading and how it's able to transport you into different worlds. A theme park can do the same thing, convincing guests that they've been transported to a whole new impossible world. That's why I decided to create a theme park centered around literature, bringing guests into worlds inspired by classic novels.
Enter four immersive lands themed to different genres of literature. Guests can become the hero in their own story, and explore worlds inspired by adventure, mystery, mythology, and science fiction. Each land is brimming with adventures for guests to embark on their very own hero's journeys.

Welcome to Grimwick Quarter, Inventor's Horizon, Lost Idol Springs, and Hallow of Heroes.

A university town buzzing with new ideas, innovation, and the technology of the future. Guests can test new inventions, experiment with the university students, and explore new ways to power the city.
Inventor's Horizon Cast Costumes

The cast costumes for this land are designed after the university students that populate Inventor's Horizon. The designs consist of multiple pieces that can be mixed and matched to ensure all employees have looks similar in style and color, but individual to each employee's preference. Style is inspired by late victorian and early Edwardian fashion.
Inventor's Horizon Interactives

Guests can explore the constellations in an interactive observatory; By spinning the ball at the center of the room, guests can see the constellations move on the ceiling above them.

By spinning wheels at various stations around the sphere, guests can bring the armillary sphere to life. Guests must work together to make every ring move at once by activating all eight stations at the same time.

Guests use a bellows to heat up their furnace and power their hot air balloon. The faster they pump the bellows, the quicker their balloon will rise. Guests can engage in friendly competition or play on their own.
